Why was my account disabled for no reason?

Posted: May 29th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Travel For Disabled | Tags: , , | 1 Comment »

I went on Vacation last week. When I left, my e-mail was working fine. Now when I try to log-in it sends me this message: Your Yahoo! Mail account is no longer active.
Unfortunately, we cannot reactivate your account because:
Your Yahoo! Mail account has been disabled. Please contact user support
I do not understand this at all! I have used this e-mail for over 10 years, why chose now to arbitrarily disable it?? Any assistance would be great! I spent over 5 hours trying to “Contact User Support” and have not gotten a response yet.

A 1 week vacation cannot possibly be the reason for deactivating your account, Yahoo deletes mail accounts if they haven’t been used for more than 4 months. Other possible reasons: you may have violated some rules, somebody may have hacked your account or Yahoo may have made a mistake. I suggest to send a mail describing your problem to account-security-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com. Or call Yahoo: 1-408-349-1572, explain to a customer service person what happened.
