There used to be a handicapped golfer that was on the tour that was allowed to use a motorized cart. What was his name? Is he still competing somewhere?

Casey Martin. He not longer plays on the Tour; I believe he is a golf coach for a university.

he was even a teammate of Tiger Woods at Stanford. He has a circulatory condition in his feet that doesn’t allow him to traverse the course like normal golfers. so he sued the PGA successfully for the right to use a cart. His argument was the cart allowed him an equal chance to compete not an unfair advantage over other golfers.

Casey Martin, who had some sort of leg disorder. I haven’t heard his name in a few years, so I have no idea what he’s up to.
