One of the resorts on the “golden mile” (or something like that) in Mazatlan, Mexico would probably be perfect. I went several years ago (solo, not visually impaired, but monolingual :) and if you’re into being cared for and coddled in beautiful surroundings on a beautiful beach, it’s totally awesome…..I intend to go back.

Hawaii can offer you many sounds and smells of tropical paridise along with guided tours with a wealth of information on native history. Follow the floral bloom around the planet.

You might check with Amtrak and there are some tour bus trips in many areas that have a one day or longer trip.

I have the same problem. I am a widow and am vision impaired as well. I can see some, but not very good.

It is kinda scary to travel by oneself when handicapped.

Maybe you can look into finding others and create a message board on Yahoo (or wherever) with the same desire. Good luck
