Where can i get help from to get a handicap van i need one but just cant afford one?
Posted: July 23rd, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Transportation | Tags: afford, cant, from, handicap, Help, Just, need | 2 Comments »I got injured at work and became 100% disable and workmans comp will not buy me a van to get around in fact i had just started when i got hurt and workmans comp law is that all they have to pay me is 60% of my pay til i turn 65 and the amount will never change and pay medical bills so know i am cursed to get 325 a week til 65 and no retirerment and i can’t even get aproved for a house because the upgrades to the home cost more then i can be approved for because of how low my pay is and its the same with getting a van and they are not cheep 60,000 which i think is insane you know this sucks i get hurt at work and end up in pain everday for the rest of my life and in a wheel chair and i can’t sue for pain and suffering and end up with not even a nuff money to pay my bills and eat i cant even run and play with my little girl they take my life away and they will not even approve stuff to improve my life the insureance company win again if anyone knows were i can get help getting a van
That’s crazy, I am so sorry. I’m not sure where you live, but does your TV station have a “can help” team that investigates wrongs in the community and exposes them via television to the general population? If so, contacting them might be a good idea. The human interest story that will tug at people’s heartstrings is likely to net some changes for you- and I don’t mean you’re just a story… I know you’re a person. Alot of times, people just don’t know what kind of wrongs are happening in their own community, so being a part of an expose, so to say, would be a double gain for you because not only would you have the investigative television reporters searching for ways to help you out and confronting the people who have wronged you, but the viewers often try to help out in any way they can.
