I’ve had Lupus for 8 years, and it has really taken its toll on both of us. Our relationship is falling to pieces due, in large part, to financial issues.
This once kind, terrific man, has turned into this angry, cold and mean monster. He actually thinks I’m lucky to be “on vacation all day, every day”. Trust me, Lupus is no day at the beach.
I understand that I am no longer the healthy and capable partner he signed on for. But ya know what – neither is he. We are not married, but have been together 11+ years. He holds all the money, and therefore all the cards. He believes he does not “need” to be nice to me, and that I have to take his negative bullying since financially, I am completely dependent on him.
He is not violent and has never hit me. He is not aware that he is abusing me verbally.
My mom has had MS since I was a little girl, and my Dad eventually stopped being nice to her too. I don’t want to repeat that pattern. Help! Anyone else have this problem?

What can I do to raise money to buy a handicap accessible van? I am a quadriplegic & I have a electrical wheelchair. The van that I have right now is not running & I do not have the money to fix it. Also this type van is not very adequate for my power wheelchair. These vans are very expensive & to me they are necessary to my life. Right now I am not able to go anywhere or do anything except for just going outside. If you think you might be able to help me or you my know a website or another person. I am a service connected disabled Nam Veteran I have lost both of my legs a year ago from Agent Orange but I don’t have the funds to buy a Van that my wheel chair will fit in, please I need finical help or a raised roof Van. I never thought I would see the day where I would have to beg for something, I have no pride left, but I felt with all the funds that people of America sends over sea’s maybe I could get someone to help me my wife cannot work for she has to be with me 24X7 due to seasures I also have, I have all medical reports if anyone wish’s to see, someone I beg you to please help me
