Souvenirs Of Your travels

It’s a given than when you go on holiday you purchase an overpriced piece of junk which you will never have used for or will ever wear, t-shirts in all varieties especially those of a rude nature are proven to the biggest sellers but generally end up sitting in people wardrobes for the majority of the garments life.

Locations and useless stuff to buy

The Middle East RegionEgyptian or Dubai holidays you’re bound to take home a mandatory camel as the stuff toys shroud every street corner! You just can’t escape them until eventually you buy one for your mother or niece but you never actually end up presenting it to them as it’s you realise it’s probably the worse present you’ve ever bought! I suspect the stuffed camel market is easily worth millions the majority of tourists eventually end up buying one!

CaribbeanCuba

so what else are you likely on your Cuba Holidays A great round cigar! Avoid buying the giant cheap ones as there half full of tissues and can’t be smoked! For a real Cuban Cigar look to pay anything between $15-$30 dollars, if you’ve got the money buy some for your Dad or Granddad back home i promise they’ll really enjoy them! (Cuban Cigars are classed as Contraband in the US and will be ceased at customs)

South East Asia – Vietnam

This proved to be relatively hard as even the large cities and towns weren’t aimed at tourists but were more localized and consisted mostly of farmer markets so you will have to make do on whats on offer there. From my past Vietnam holidays Experiences i came across little authentic set pot sets for as little as $3, Linen and traditional clothing prepared and tailor consisting of wonderful silk fabrics and cottons. Many of these very cheap gifts make thoughtfully great present which hold great value.

All souvenirs cost money which I take into consideration some tourists, especially backpackers cannot afford, if you’re a backpacker and wish to commemorate you’re travelling experiences with souvenirs why not cheekily steal the towels from you’re hotel rooms to mark you’re budget journeys.

imperative Safari Points

visiting a new country can be a task within itself let alone venturing a totally new continent which i why i’ve wrote this peice which will why i’ve wrote this article which will hopefully guide you through you’re africa adventure.

Safari’s – On you’re journey’s to the African continent it’s crucial you pack the bare essentials as buying them there can prove either outrageously expensive or sometimes near impossible to even find them, so put these words into practice and pack everything you think you will need for your Holidays on Safari.

Be it Holidays in Kenya or even Holidays to Mozambique it’s irelevant where in Africa you’re going but you will need tohave you’re vaccinations either by you’re local GP or health clinic administrator which’ll prevent you from catching wide spread disease’s and infection which threaten Africa such as polio and tetanus.

make sure you collect and travel with the documentation the doctor or the vaccine administrator will give you as they will need to be displayed to African migration at the air port to allow you into the country.

Attire: If you’re heading out on a Safari tour expect to catch lots of sun as there isn’t much shade in the outback’s and plateaus so dress appropriately in pastel coloured ,light weigh,t breathable fabric shorts and T-shirts which won’t bound heat and keep you cool and airy. For footwear i recommend you wear hiking trains or flyweight walking boots which are made from a breathable fabric that’ll provide you with comfort, support and protection from bugs.

Sun Cream: it’s a given you apply buckets load’s of sun cream on yourself which will prevent you’re skin from burning which could ultimately ruin your holiday, a factor 25-30 cream applied every couples of hours will provide great protect and will also let your skin tanned, for kids with delicate skin up the factor to a 40-50.

Mobile and Cell phones: It’s sensible to carry two or more phones in you’re safari party, preferably different networks or carriers as one of them is bound to run out of battery or even loose signal, so being overcautious is sometimes the best.

There are a lot of people out there telling what to wear, what to bring etc and most tourists happily apply but many they still come across little problems which ultimately turn the world’s ultimate holiday into a bit of an anticlimax.

Here’s my survival guidebook after You’ve read and acted on the normal and more important essential guides

  • Malaria tablets these aren’t to prevent the bug but to suppress the effects of how you’ll feel if you catch it, so please remember to bring them and actually remember to take them, this doesn’t simply apply for Safari’s you’ll need to take them on any Africa holidays you go on.
  • Rehydration salts you more than likely to get “Montezuma’s revenge” truly named subsequently after the popular branded chocolate company, this travellers derived phrase is otherwise known as “dogey stomach” or that cringe worthy word “diarrhoea”, these salts will help rejuvenate you’re body and vivify you to your prior self.
  • Vitamins more than ever!
  • Chapsticks – if you’re looking for sore dry face a safari plateau would be on the top places to get one! combat the dry sore skin feeling with chap stick!! In fact bring a few as people are bound to ask that disgusting question “can I borrow you’re Chap Stick” people will go to desperate measures when their in pain.
  • Painkillers On Kenya safari especially the parks terrain are as lumpy as a bad made crumble and will eventually give you a head ache this doesn’t even consider the hot sun which will drain you’re body of every drop of water it has in it presenting you with a head thumping pain.
  • Garlic If you’re mosquito net ceases to keep the midges at bay then eat garlic, copious amounts of it! the pungent herb and will make your blood taste undesirable and they will avoid you like the plague.( if you’re a lady travelling solo this will also help prevent everyman asking to marry you which will be a frequent annoyance on south Africa holidays Especially so, so i strongly advise you invest in some cloves or wear a phoney ring.
