Yes, another one of these questions . Help?

Alright, so I’m looking for a job, but I’m not old enough to be hired, unfortunately, and I really would not be able to get to a local job, anyhow. So i’ve turned to the one option left – Babysitting.

I have taken (and passed – yes, there is a test.) a babysitting course, and I can say that I’m able to babysit. In the past 3 years, i’ve often been left home alone with my sister, who though is a year younger than me, isn’t very mature. I take care of her, and am left home alone with her, and I also have a mentally challenged/handicapped brother who I take care of sometimes. I also used to care for my baby cousin, before he grew older, changing his diaper, feeding/playing with him, etc …

Now it’s time for me to earn money, hence the babysitting. I believe that I’m experienced with my family, though never with anyone else’s children. My question is – how would I begin ?

My neighbourhood is a cul-de-sac, right beside a major road, on the other side of which is another neighbourhood. I know many people around here, as well as older kids, though there are hardly any children. How would I go about finding clientele, or children to babysit? I’m very shy, so going from door to door and talking to people would not really be preferable, though I will if I absolutely have to. In addition, posting a flyer on a telephone pole would be a too public.

I’m not bad with kids, but I’m not the greatest, though I do like them, and am willing to learn. (: A friend has offered to come along whenever she’s avaliable and help me out, completely free of charge, and she’s also completed a babysitting course.

Back to my question: How would you go about first getting clientele, advertising, and then organizing your schedule + caring for the children?

***Note; I’ll haven’t yet decided if I’ll start babysitting once school rolls around, as from Tuesday, August 3rd – Thursday, August 12th I’m completely free, yet I have a vacation from the 16th to the 21st, and nothing afterwards.

Hi, i have a laptop with a GIGABYTE wireless LAN mini PCI card, my workplace have an unsecured network setup for us but the technician is on vacation, my laptop connects fine to secured networks, but it wont connect at all to unsecured networks, i have tried disabling norton but it still would not let me connect,

I need help with this girl. I saw her towards the end of the school year and ever since I have been killing myself trying to be with her. We chatted on myspace and I finally got the courage to ask her out only to have her tell me her parents wanted her to wait until she was a little older, but that she would enjoy when that day comes. I told her that I was going on vacation and she gave me her number. I texted her good night and everything while on vacation and it seemed good until I got back home. I called her and it was the most devastating 1:34 seconds of my life. I didn’t know what to say and I know I sounded like a mentally handicapped person. That was a couple of days ago and I haven’t heard from her since. I don’t know what to do. I’d love nothing more to date her and treat her like the Goddess she is, but if she wants to be friends thats good too. I rather have her as a friend in my life than not at all.

Help! How do I get needy house guest to understand I am not thier cruise director?

I posted a question yesterday, and I got lots of answers, nothing of any use.

My spouse’s friend and girlfriend are here visiting from the UK. Specificallly London. THey are staying for 2.5 weeks and are currently staying in our spare bedroom. HELP! They can’t even take care of themselves and are expecting us to cart them around… Just last weekend we took them to lets say AZ for the weekend, not yesterday they are askign if I can drive them to Cabo San Lucas.. I kid you not. I absolutely said no to the latter.

This couple are 30ish male and 20ish female and all they want to do is drink drink drink.. I came home from work last night ot find them in the hot tub drinking again…. !!

I am forced to work. My spouse is disabled. I have no vacation time and I am forced to be here at the office 8-5 and when I get home..it’s “lets go for dinner and drinks!”

How can I set these 2 up to get out on thier own and not expect me to be the Cruise director?

Need help finding a tax page for my disabled mother?

I’m trying to help my mom with her taxes this year. I was told I could file her taxes online (a 1040 form) at the IRS website for free. Has anyone done this? If so, can you post a link? I’ve looked everywhere on their confusing site and can’t find a thing!
My mom is living off social security so she doesn’t need anything very complex done. My tax guy said to do the 1040 online so she can get the stimulus package thing. Unfortunately, he is now on vacation so I can’t ask him. I figure most YA people do taxes…so who knows.
