Even though you might think your days of driving and traveling are behind you, with handicap accessible vehicles your journey is just beginning. How do you know what type of vehicle you need? If this is the first handicap accessible vehicle that you are buying, you may have quite a few questions. The best thing to do is to find a reputable dealership in your area that has a knowledgeable staff that can help answer all of your questions. If the mobility dealership is located close enough to you, it is a good idea to visit them and see the vans in person.

Make sure that you try out all of the features in the van, including the controls for the ramp, and see how easily the seats remove.
