I am considered to be disabled to do my job for my job title. I just came back to work and worked 6 weeks as a temp. clerk before I had to go back home since there was not a job available that I could take for my classification (technician)since I have work restrictions, thus no jobs to fit me.
I am in the process of signing up for disability through the doctors, but the company refuses to pay me my 25 1/2 days of vacation till the pension pay kicks in to help as a supplimental income. They say they are keeping vacation pay until the end of the year before they pay out. I have nothing and I am not able to get another job….. Any advice short of calling a lawyer that I am doing already. I can’t draw unemployment since I am still considered employed. I appreciate you time!

The 2010 Winter Games in Whistler gathers elite athletes from across the world in a competition of athletic splendour and prestige. The arrival of a prominent event such as the Olympic Games means intense media exposure and spectator traffic, increase in cost of goods and services and uncertain availability in Whistler vacation rentals. If you’re looking to watch first-class athletes compete but avoid the hassle involved with the Olympic Games, the World Cup in Whistler is just the right destination for you. This article examines Whistler World Cup events in March and indicates ideal spots for World Cup Whistler vacation rentals.
Whistler Vacation Rentals for Alpine Skiing World Cup
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) presents the Alpine Skiing World Cup from March 9-14. This event features 130 athletes from 19 countries and will be the final World Cup of the Paralympic season. Creekside on Whistler Mountain will host the competition which includes: downhill, super-G, super combined, slalom and giant slalom.
Since Creekside is hosting the Alpine skiing event; Whistler vacation rentals at Whistler Creekside resort would offer the most convenient location. Just a short drive from the main village, Creekside offers an array of Whistler vacation rentals to accommodate any travelling style.
IPC Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon World Cup
The IPC Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon World Cup will take place from March 4-7 at the Whistler Olympic Park. In both these events, competitors are classified as standing, sit-ski or visually impaired. Each category includes competition between athletes with similar disabilities.
As the Whistler Olympic Park is situated 16 kilometres south of Whistler; there are minimal Whistler vacation rentals that are walking distance from the park. A shuttle service however is available until mid March from central and upper village to the Olympic Park. Whistler vacation rentals near central and upper village would thus be an ideal location for visitors travelling without a vehicle.
International Biathlon Union World Cup
The Biathlon World Cup presented by the International Biathlon Union (IBU) will also be held at the Whistler Olympic Park from March 11- 15. The Biathlon competition involves a combination of cross country skiing and rifle shooting, the goal is to complete the course as quickly as possible while also hitting as many target as possible.
As the IBU Biathlon World Cup is also held at the Whistler Olympic Park, ideal Whistler vacation rentals spots would also be in the central or upper village area for it close accessibility to shuttle service stops.
