Don’t make the mistake of thinking that Malaysia Airlines is only one of the highest-ranking air carriers in Southeast Asia. Its rankings are worldwide. Many people pick Malaysia Airlines when they have flight plans that will take them to Southeast Asia or maybe down to Australia, but it also flies to the Middle East, London, South Africa, and Los Angeles among other destinations. We’ll be giving you some newsworthy details about this acclaimed airline in this article.

Airline food has been getting a bad reputation over the last several years. Some airlines have even stopped serving meals altogether. And, with a lot of airlines, if you do get a meal it leaves a lot to be desired. This is not true about the high-quality delicious meals you will be presented with when you fly on Malaysia Airlines. It’s true that people who fly First Class will be treated to authentic Malaysian cuisine, but the food served in Economy Class and Business Class is also incredible, especially when you compare it to your usual airline food.

The choices you have if you need a special type of meal are numerous, whether it’s for health reason, dietary restrictions, or religious preferences. Not only can you order a Kosher or vegetarian meal, for example, but Malaysia Airlines offers special meals for Hindus, Muslims, vegans and even those on a raw food diet! With a majority of airlines nowadays, you’re lucky to get a reheated meal, let alone one tailored to your dietary preferences. This just reinforces the fact that Malaysia Airlines really wants satisfied customers. It goes without saying that if you, or a member of your party, need to order a special meal that you contact the airline beforehand so they can have it ready.

Besides Skytrax, in 2010 Malaysia Airlines was heralded as the “World’s Leading Airline to Asia” by World Travel Awards. This is in addition to the awards bestowed on Malaysia Airlines by other organizations. So it’s easy to see that Malaysia Airlines must be on the right track because this illustrious airline has won many other awards in recent years as well.

Aside from flights to and from its home country of Malaysia, you can get many flights to destinations in Australia and New Zealand. Everyone should visit each of these exciting and diverse countries at least once. A picturesque city that has a variety of cultural and natural attractions is Melbourne which is frequently flown to by Malaysia Airlines. Famously Melbourne holds sporting events such as the Melbourne Cup and the Australian Open Tennis. Forgetting Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland should be checked out. The world has many beaches that are quite beautiful, and a lot of them can be found at the end of Malaysia Flights. An example of this is an island nation that belongs to Thailand, known as Phucket that has a reputation of drawing people who are looking for beaches. There are many exotic beaches, some seen in movies, among all of the islands in the region, so you can island hop. A place near Malaysia that you might want to check out is Langkawi, 104 separate islands clustered together. The thought of paradise is what you will think about when you spend some time on the beaches of these islands, and look at the blue waters and lush landscapes. There are even more beach locations than these that can be flown into by Malaysia Airlines.

Malaysia Airlines takes good care of all of its passengers. It doesn’t matter which Class you are in. One way that this airline makes your trip more pleasant is by offering a wide selection of entertainment. For a long-haul flight, this diversity of entertainment options offered by Malaysia Airlines will be especially welcome. They offer the standard movies and television programs, but they also have a variety of music you can listen to and even games that can be played by more than one player. While the entertainment selection will depend on which class you are traveling in and where your flight originated, the variety of entertainment options you, or your children, will have will be impressive. In summary, it’s easy to see that Malaysia Airlines is held in high esteem for the level of service they provide to the people who travel with them, not only in Asia, but to other places worldwide as well. It’s not surprising that Malaysia Airlines’ attention to the needs and comfort of its passengers has resulted in many awards for the airline. If you take into consideration all the different locations to which Malaysia Airlines travels – from Auckland to Los Angeles and many points in between – you will surely find a time to use Malaysia Airlines for one of your trips.

Holiday Destinations in 2011

Posted: May 21st, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Destination Guides | Tags: , , | No Comments »

It is coming to the time of the year when you start planning your summer holiday and rather than get all worked up about it, why not let me do the hard work finding the best places to go and you can choose from there. Here are some of the most amazing places to visit over the holidays.

Africa has many destinations to travel to and since the World Cup last year, you can benefit from the improved infrastructure that they have introduced and all the new buildings, hotels and other exciting landmarks make a South Africa holiday one of the most amazing places to visit at the moment. Egypt has seen a harrowing few months on behalf of the media, but that shouldn’t mean you are put off visiting as it a great location. The country isn’t in anarchy and there are very few shark attacks to make it a primary concern.

Dubai has had a hard time meeting expectations recently and there has never and most likely will never be a better and cheaper time to go on a Dubai holiday. What’s the most interesting is that you can see all the new development projects that have taken place and multimillion dollar, seven star hotels, but they have not been able to fill the spaces up leaving them completely under target.

The last destination for going to in this current climate is the rather obvious, but much neglected super country of Australia. There are many different places and cultures to see throughout the land and if you look hard enough, you won’t just be experiencing the same as every other backpacking traveller that visits the land down under. A lot of people think it’s too far to go for a holiday and that Australia holidays can sometimes be more hassle than they are worth. But it really is an enjoyable country for you to visit.
