My husband is verbally abusive to my daughter and I. He has grabbed my daughter’s (17 years old) ankles and pulled her our of bed and hit walls. We have been married 13 years and over the years he has denied to get counseling or has just laughed it off. Finally I have decided to leave him, but not get a divorce if he seeks help for his anger. My children and I were on vacation in Alabama seeing family. I would go out with some girl friends from highschool. My parents believe I was having an affair, but I wasn’t. My husband called my my parents and threatned to take away my other daughter who is 9 and handicapped. Can he really take her away from me and what other things could he do? If you have any support numbers for women in my position please let me know. All information is valued.

So my family is deciding to take a vacation to Las Vegas, because we’ve never been there before. And since we’re bring the whole family, I’m just wondering if there are any places where everybody can have fun! Our youngest is 12. And I am the oldest at 16. Nobody is handicapped or pregnant. And cost MAY have to come into consideration. Depends on how high of a price we’re talking about.
Don’t worry about travel. Just places to spend time together and such.

My son is 14 months old and weighs about 22lbs. Although he is the size of 1 yr old he only has the physical capabilities of about a 5 month old. He can no get him self to a sitting position ( He can sit up but you have to put him in a sitting position) He does not walk or crawl. He has a rare bone disease. He has had a transplant and will be of normal health around age 2-3yrs old. He just has a lot of catching up to do becuse his bones are rebuilding.
My question is this. He loves his swings, he has a travel and a regular one. Well it seems that he is more then outgrown the travel and the regular doesn’t swing as fast now that he is heavier. Is there any swings made specifically for older children. Not the kind that go outside but something indoors, like the infant ones.
My other questions; My son has very limited vision, are their toys specifically made for visually impaired kids?
Thanks

We are going on a trip in March about half way accross the country. Travel time would be i think approximately 5 or 6 hours not including getting there. I have a huge family including some extended family. There are 3 or 4 dozen of us.(never bothered to count lol) Kids are ages 3-20. I am 18. All of us are very active and hyper mostly. Any general tips you have please let us know. But I had some other questions.
We would do the buddy system. Probably one older kid or parent to two younger ones because the plane has 3 seats in a row. What age do you think a kid can have that responsiblity to be an older buddy. What about the ones who may not need an older buddy but aren’t old enough or mature enough to have little buddies?
We also have one blind 14 year old, one that will only have one eye when we go, i am visually impaired, and one other is visually impaired(more than glasses). We are not badly visually impaired(i can have my own little buddies but someone needs to make sure i have any help i may need, and the other visually impaired one is a 7 year old boy. Some have ADHD. A few have learning difficulties.
What are ways to get through security because it is kind of confusing? And what should we do for anyone who is visually impaired? ADHD? Learning disabilities?
Some of the kids are adopted.
