Dubai Inc. Part2 On 60 Minutes

The video first aired in two parts on CBS 60 Minutes in October 2007. Part I runs 11:49 (min:sec) and Part II runs 12:45pm. Dubai is a kingdom among 6 others which form the United Arab Emirates, located in the Persian Gulf region. The UAE has oil, the Emir (or King) of Dubai, Sheik Muhammad, is investing the oil wealth to build Dubai into a financial center, shipping hub, and vacation destination. The Emir aspires for Dubai to have the highest standard of living in the world. The per capita income (wealth/person) is already one of the highest in the world. Part I presents the construction boom occurring in Dubai, and Part II focuses on social and political issues that Dubai faces.
